About the Nemours Children's Health Run & Walk
The course rolls through the grounds of Nemours Estate, a formal garden property with fountains, towers, and monuments inspired by the gardens of Versailles. The route has genuine visual interest, the kind of scenery that makes you slow down to look. A shorter fun run option runs alongside the main distance, so families tend to come out together.
Before and after the race, a Runner's Village area fills with music, sponsor booths, a kid zone with inflatables, and food. The whole setup is oriented around families spending a few hours on the grounds rather than just crossing a finish line. Proceeds go to a children's compassionate care fund connected to Nemours.
