The race is part of Neewollah, a larger fall festival happening around it, so the atmosphere after you finish is different from most local road races. There is a chili cook-off and a dessert contest going on nearby, which gives the post-race stretch somewhere to wander. Refreshments are set up at the finish.
Packet pickup is race morning only, so plan to arrive with time to spare. The event runs whatever the weather brings. No dogs on the course.
