About the NCYMCA's Pie Run
The Pie Run goes on Thanksgiving morning, starting from the Newport County YMCA parking lot in Middletown. There are two distance options, one chip-timed and one not, and the course is open to dogs and strollers. The race collects food donations and coats for local organizations, so many people arrive with bags to drop off at bib pickup.
Bibs can be picked up at the Y on the days leading up to Thanksgiving, which keeps the morning itself from feeling rushed. Parking and restrooms are available on site. The start area is the Y's own lot, so there is not much to navigate once you arrive.

The NCYMCA's Pie Run has been held every year since at least 2021. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
