About the Nature Made Great Race: Half Marathon, 5K, 10K, 15K, 10M, 1M
The half marathon is mostly trail, winding through the scenic hills around Agoura Hills, while the shorter distances run on road. The courses are known for open, serene surroundings rather than urban pavement, and the terrain reflects the natural landscape of the area. Several distance options stack on top of each other, which gives the event an interesting structure across the field.
The finish is at Chumash Park, where there is a post-race party with food, music, and a shopping expo. Parking at the expo and on race day is free. An announcer is at the finish line, and photographers are posted along the course.
