The course starts on a hospital campus, where runners get doused in colored powder before heading out onto the back roads of a nearby neighborhood. The route is shaped so that most turns go the same direction, and volunteers are stationed throughout to keep everyone on track. The finish brings you back to campus, with one more color station waiting at the end.
