The course runs out and back on Knappton Road, starting from Okie's park. It is a road race, straightforward in shape, and the surroundings are the quiet, rural character you would expect from a small Naselle Thanksgiving morning. The race benefits the local cross country team, so the people putting it on are runners themselves.
