About the MYRTLE MILE
The Myrtle Mile runs at Grand Lake at Market Common, a planned district with paved paths and open green space. The course starts and finishes near a lakeside shelter, so the surroundings stay visible throughout. It is a short, flat route that draws both runners chasing the competitive heat and families pushing strollers on the fun run side.
Packet pickup is race morning at the same shelter where the start line is set up, so there is no separate trip the day before. Post-race refreshments are out after you finish. The race benefits Ryzon Refuge, a local nonprofit that supports mothers and children experiencing homelessness in the area.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The MYRTLE MILE has been held every year since at least 2025. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
