About the MV Hospital Sullivan 5K Run/Walk
The course runs through East Chop, a residential neighborhood on the water, with open views across Nantucket Sound for much of the route. The road surface is straightforward, and the scenery does most of the heavy lifting. Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome, which shapes the feel of the field, especially toward the back.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at the hospital, with a second window on race morning at Washington Park, where the event starts. Parking near the park and the harbor is tight; the organizers suggest carpooling, biking, or walking in if you can manage it.
