About the Mustang Music 5K
The 5K winds through the neighborhoods around a middle school campus, so the surroundings are quiet streets and yards rather than a park or trail. The course has a musical element baked in: school bands are posted along the route, so you hear live music as you run past rather than just at the start or finish.
On-site registration opens race morning, which is useful if you miss the online window. The fun run option uses the school track, with musical groups ringing the infield, making it a workable choice if you are bringing kids who want to participate but are not ready for a road course.
