About the Museum of Aviation Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K and Hand Cycle Race
The course runs on Robins Air Force Base, right alongside a major aviation museum. The roads there are paved and flat, which makes this a qualifying course for Boston. The setting is unlike most road races, with military aircraft and hangars visible along the way.
Because the course is on an active military installation, runners need to bring a valid photo ID to packet pickup and be prepared for a background check process at registration. Packet pickup takes place the evening before the race at the Museum's Century of Flight Hangar, with a second window available on race morning.
