About the Mumfest MUMosa 5k & Fun Run
The course winds through the middle of a street festival, which means vendor tents, music, and crowds on both sides for much of the run. The route runs through historic downtown New Bern on a partially closed course, so you are sharing the atmosphere with festival-goers the whole way. It is an unusual setup, more parade route than open road.
Mimosas are available at the finish line, which fits the occasion. The race is part of a larger fall festival weekend, so there is plenty happening around the start and finish beyond the run itself.
