About the Mullet Festival 5K Run/Walk & Fun Run
The course rolls through rural Lillian on a mix of paved roads and packed dirt, so the surface changes underfoot as you go. There are no dramatic climbs, but the terrain keeps it honest. An EMT truck is on the course, and the finish is back at the recreation park where everything started.
This is the Optimist Club's big fundraiser for the year, and the finish area reflects that. Food vendors are on-site after the race, and beer is part of the post-race spread. Same-day registration is open up to the start, so you can decide the morning of.
