About the 2027 MRTC Frank Horton Memorial Winter Off-Road Series
This is a multi-race winter trail series that moves to a different Memphis-area course for each event. The routes range from a short loop at Overton Park to a longer run through Stanky Creek, where the trail winds up, down, and through the woods on singletrack that mountain bikers also use. Shelby Farms Park closes out the series on open terrain.
Stanky Creek races stage from a parking lot on Yale Road in Bartlett, where registration and the finish line share the same spot. At Shelby Farms, parking sits on a grassy area between two entry gates, with overflow options along Silo Road and at Beaver Lake Cove. The stables lot is reserved for stable patrons and is off-limits to runners.
