About the Mountain Lakes Turkey Trot

This is a Thanksgiving morning race through Mountain Lakes, starting at an elementary school. The course is certified, so the distance is exact and the route is measured properly. Strollers are welcome, which tends to bring out a lot of families. A DJ plays at the start area, and there is coffee and hot chocolate on hand.

Packet pickup runs the two days before the race at the YMCA welcome center, and the organizers suggest that over picking up on race morning. Check-in also opens well before the gun, so there is time to settle in before the start.
