About the Mount Airy Mile
A single mile straight down historic Main Street, start to finish. The course is point-to-point, so there are no loops and no backtracking, just one clean run through the center of town. Proceeds go toward helping people cover medical costs that insurance does not reach, so there is a reason behind the entry beyond the racing itself.
The finish line leads directly to Liquidity Aleworks, where a DJ is set up and food is out. There is beer from the brewery and sandwiches from a local fast-food spot. It is a short race with a full post-race stop built in.
