About the Mother's Day Run for the Roses: Half Marathon, 10K and 5K
The course runs on the Ironton Rail Trail, which means a smooth, flat surface with no real surprises underfoot. Rail trails tend to feel open and steady, and this one sits outside Coplay with enough room that the different distance options spread out without crowding. Walkers are on the course alongside runners.
Packet pickup is available the morning of the race near the start and finish area, with an earlier option the afternoon before at Saylor Park, which is also where the race begins and ends. There is food and drink at the finish, and fresh roses are handed out to women at the finish line.
