This one runs on a food drive. Entry is a donation of non-perishable groceries, brought to the event for Food For Others, a local food bank. Peanut butter, canned soup, dried pasta, and boxed cereal are what the organization needs most. The run takes place in the Mosby Woods neighborhood, close enough to home for many Fairfax residents that the morning has a block-party feel.
