About the Moraine Regatta 5k
The course starts in a beach parking lot, moves onto the Sunken Garden Trail along Lake Arthur, then loops back toward the main regatta area. It is a mix of road and trail underfoot, with lake views along the way. The surrounding park keeps things shaded and scenic without being technical.
Parking is free at the Pleasant Valley Beach lot on the south shore, and signs for the regatta guide you in. Packet pickup opens at an information tent before the start. The race is part of a larger park event, so there are local vendors, water sports, and other activities to stick around for after you finish.
