About the Moraga Turkey Trot-2026
The course runs along the golf course path at Moraga Country Club, so the surface is smooth and the surroundings are open and green. It is a Thanksgiving morning tradition organized by the local Chamber of Commerce, and costumes are part of the culture here. Expect a wide spread of paces, strollers included, and prizes for the best Thanksgiving outfit alongside the fastest runners.
Packet pickup runs in the days before the race at a real estate office directly across the street from the start, at the corner of Moraga Way and St. Andrews Drive, with a brief window on race morning as well. Parking near the start is tight, so carpooling or walking over is worth planning ahead.

The Moraga Turkey Trot-2026 has been held every year since at least 2017. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Oct 18, 2026.
