About the Mooresville/Lake Norman Turkey Trot 5K

The race starts and finishes at The Christian Mission on N. Main Street, with a kids fun run going off before the main wave starts. Canned goods and shelf-stable food donations are accepted at a drop-off near registration, which gives the morning a purpose beyond the running itself.

Packet pickup runs across several sessions in the days before Thanksgiving, all at The Christian Mission. On race day, parking is spread across nearby lots at a church, a café, and a few other businesses along N. Main Street, so arriving with a little extra time helps.
