About the Moore War Run

The course starts outside Moore High School and traces a loop through city streets, heading south and west before finishing in Old Town Moore on Broadway. The start and finish are close to each other but not the same spot, so spectators can catch both ends without much trouble. Train tracks run between the two, which occasionally holds up anyone trying to cross on foot.

Packet pickup is the evening before at a nearby high school, though race-morning pickup is also available. Parking exists at both the start and finish areas. Bands and cheer groups are positioned along the course, and the finish area in Old Town has a bit of a street-festival feel to it.
