About the Moonlight Run
The course runs through the village streets at night, which changes the feel of a road race considerably. Without daylight, the surroundings compress, the crowd noise carries differently, and the pace tends to feel faster than it is. The race has a charitable side, supporting a foundation that works with families affected by the opioid crisis.
Packet pickup is spread across several evenings in the days before the race, at a couple of local running stores and a tavern on Main Street. Race-day pickup is also available, running through the afternoon at a pavilion near the start.
