About the Moonlight Run 5K
The course runs through downtown Collinsville in the evening, which means the streets are dark and the air has usually cooled down a bit by start time. It is a road race, certified, and the route stays in the heart of town rather than heading out to a trail or a park. The fundraising side goes toward local schools and teachers.
Packet pickup the evening before is at a coffee shop on the main street downtown, which makes the errand easy to fold into a pre-race dinner. Race-evening pickup opens a couple of hours before the start, at the same address.
