About the Monument City Classic 10k

The course starts and finishes at the same spot in a park, so there is no point-to-point logistics to worry about. Expect rolling hills rather than flat pavement, with the terrain giving the race some genuine shape. A few water stops are spread along the way, and shoe company reps are on hand with demo pairs to try before or after.

Packet pickup is at Selman Timberframe on race morning, which keeps things simple if you cannot make a separate trip. The upper lot near that building is closed to vehicles, so plan accordingly. Walkers head out earlier to stay ahead of the heat, with runners starting shortly after.
