About the Montville Race Day 5K , 10K , and Color Run

All three races start from the Camp Oakdale Pavilion, where Oxoboxo Dam Road meets a state route at the edge of town. The timed courses are road races on a certified course; the Color Run follows a separate, untimed route. The event is organized by a coalition of local civic groups, and proceeds go toward veteran services and literacy programs in town.

After the races, the pavilion area has snow cones, hot dogs, a bounce house, chair massages, and raffles. It is the kind of morning where the finish line is still busy well after the last runner comes through.
