About the Monster Mash Fun Run
The Monster Mash Fun Run is held at Rittman Nature Reserve, and the course runs flat through the reserve's natural surroundings. The race benefits a local nonprofit that supports children, families with disabilities, and veterans in the area, so the morning has a purpose behind it beyond the running itself.
A costume contest, raffle baskets, and a split-pot drawing are part of the post-race scene, which gives the finish area a Halloween-party feel. Chip timing is handled by a regional outfit, so results come back quickly.
