About the Monster Dash
The Monster Dash runs on road and trail through a greenway, starting behind an elementary school gym. Costumes are encouraged, dogs and strollers are welcome, and there is no timing or prize structure. The event benefits the Auxiliary to the Boys and Girls Club, and professional photos from the morning are available to download afterward.
Parking is at Grandview Elementary, and the start is just behind the gym. The course follows the Karst Greenway Trail. The two distance options have a slightly staggered start, so walkers and runners of different paces tend to spread out naturally before the trail gets going.
