About the Monster Dash Run/Walk 5k
The Monster Dash is an evening race that starts and finishes at W.A. Olen Park. Halloween and fall costumes are welcome, and there is a costume contest on the course. Refreshments are served at the covered shelter after everyone finishes. The whole event runs after dark, which gives it a different feel than a morning 5k.
Packet pickup runs the two days before the race at a nutrition shop on Main Street, with race-evening pickup available at the park before the start. Walk-in and same-day registration are both accepted at the park that evening.
