The course starts at a college campus near the sand volleyball courts, heads out along a walking trail, crosses a bridge over a creek, and follows a road to the turnaround point. The route is an out-and-back, so you retrace your steps on the way home. Those who want a shorter outing can turn around before the bridge.
Registration is open on race day itself, and the start area accepts cash, check, and card, so you do not need to plan ahead on payment.
