About the Monster Dash 5k, 1 mile & Candy Mile
The Monster Dash runs through downtown Dublin, and the route itself is the event. The main race is a straightforward road course, and the shorter distance gives younger runners their own shot at the start line. Age division awards go deep across a wide range of brackets, so runners of most ages are competing for something.
The morning wraps up with a candy walk reserved for the youngest kids, who collect candy as they make their way through downtown. It is a separate event from the races, with its own later start, so families with small children have a reason to stick around after the racing is done.
