About the 2026 Mogadishu Mile 5K Run

The course runs along the river at Woodruff Riverfront Park, so the scenery is open water and sky for most of the route. It is an evening race, which keeps the heat manageable in early fall and gives the finish a different feel than a typical morning event. The race raises money for organizations supporting Army Rangers and their families.
