About the MLK5K/10K and Divine Nine 5K Challenge

This race honors Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and draws a wide mix of runners, walkers, and families to Riviera Beach. Several distance options mean people at very different fitness levels line up together. Greek-letter organizations have their own challenge within the race, competing for trophies and raising scholarship money, and a dedicated tent area gives them a place to gather before and after.

Packet pickup runs across two evenings before race day, hosted at a real estate office and a wellness center on separate nights. Race-morning pickup is available at the Dan Calloway Recreation Complex, though organizers encourage grabbing your bib the day before to keep things moving at the start.
