About the Mistletoe Run
The course starts and finishes at a YMCA in downtown Winston-Salem. The shorter distance winds through a residential neighborhood nearby, while the half marathon stretches out past a conference center, historic gardens, a village district, and a university campus before looping back. The roads are closed for the race, so there is nothing to dodge.
Packet pickup runs the afternoon and evening before at the YMCA, with a short window on race morning as a backup. The organizers are clear that race-morning pickup cuts it close, especially for the earlier start. Afterward, the parking lot fills up with food trucks, bounce houses, and live music.
