About the MISH Waterfront Marathon

The course runs along the shore of Little Bay de Noc, starting and finishing at a waterfront hotel. A non-motorized path carries runners north along the water to a park, where shorter-distance runners turn back and marathon runners press on through the northern part of Gladstone, including a stretch of boardwalk with open water views on both sides.

Packet pickup is at the start hotel the evening before, with race-morning pickup also available. After the race, a local tavern pours Upper Peninsula craft beer at the finish area, alongside an awards ceremony and expo vendors.
