About the Minster Oktoberfest Classic 10k

The course starts at the high school and finishes in the middle of the Oktoberfest celebration on a downtown street corner, so there is an actual festival waiting at the end. The route is road the whole way, flat enough that fast times are common, and there is live music along the course to break up the effort.

Prize money goes fairly deep into the field, with awards for overall finishers, masters runners, and the top local finisher. A kids' fun run starts just after the main race, in front of the high school near registration, with race-day signup available on the spot.
