About the Minocqua/Woodruff Turkey Trot
The course runs through the streets of Woodruff, starting and finishing at Faith Church. It is a road race through a small northwoods town, the kind of morning where most people are heading straight to a kitchen after the finish line. The surrounding area is quiet on Thanksgiving, which makes the crowd feel concentrated and genuine.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at the church, and again on race morning before the start. Parking is limited, so arriving early or picking up the night before is worth the effort. The church on Blumenstein Road sits just off the main highway, between a local grocery store and a Walmart, easy to find.
