About the Mind over Miles
Mind over Miles is built around mental health awareness and veterans' suicide prevention, with roots in a board member's endurance challenge that brought the concept to life as a community race. The shorter distance is chip timed; the longer walk covers a single mile untimed, so the field pulls in people across a wide range of ability and purpose.
Packet pickup opens race morning before the start, with pre-registration also available beforehand. Dogs are welcome on course, though the organizers ask that leashed pups line up toward the back. Post-race refreshments are on hand at the finish.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
