About the 15th Annual Milford 5K Trick or Trot Run/Walk
The course runs along the waterfront in Milford, designed to keep participants on the left side facing traffic throughout. It starts and finishes at Lisman Landing, a lot beside a boatyard near the end of the town green. Halloween costumes are a real part of the race, with judges handing out awards for the best ones alongside the age-group results.
Packet pickup happens the evening before at the Beth-El Center on New Haven Ave, which is worth doing to skip the morning rush. Race-morning pickup is at Lisman Landing itself. Parking is in the large lot there, with overflow behind the nearby restaurants. A kids' Halloween dash goes off before the main start, so families tend to arrive early.
