About the Midsummer Night Run
The race starts in the early evening at Oneonta Recreation Park, so you are running while the light is fading rather than in the full heat of the afternoon. The course is USATF-certified, and the field includes strollers, kids doing a shorter fun run, and adults chasing a real time. Food trucks and live music are set up at the park, and a fireworks show closes out the night.
Parking is at Oneonta High School, with shuttles running to and from the race site. There is no parking at the park itself, so build in extra time. Packet pickup runs the day before at HomeTown Bank of Alabama, with a second window on race morning at the park.
