Moorestown, NJ
The course runs through Moorestown close to midnight on New Year's Eve, so the streets feel different than a typical weekend race morning. Glow gear and costumes show up at the start line, and a DJ keeps things moving. The route is chip-timed and runs through town.
After the finish, there is hot cocoa and a champagne toast for those of drinking age. Age group awards are handed out as part of the post-race celebration.
