About the Michael Bazan Jimenez & Noah Lichwa Memorial Fun Run/Walk
This is a memorial run held on Winters Youth Day, honoring two young men from the local community who were lost the same day. All proceeds go toward scholarships awarded to students at the local high school, so the race has a specific and personal weight to it. The course is a short out-and-back or loop suitable for runners and walkers alike.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at Hooby's Brewery on Main Street in town, which also serves as the in-person registration location. On race morning, there is time before the start for late registration, followed by brief announcements before the run begins.
