About the MHRRC Summer BBQ & Fun Run
The event is held at James Baird State Park, where an adult group run and a kids fun run share the same evening. The adult run is led by a club member and is a group outing, not a race. The kids run is a short course open to younger children. Both start from the same shelter area, so families can split up and reunite easily.
Bibs for the kids run are available at the shelter before the runs begin. After the kids run wraps up, there is a barbecue with hamburgers, hot dogs, and sides. The club provides water, and attendees are welcome to bring their own drinks. The whole evening is free, but registration is encouraged so organizers can plan accordingly.
