About the Metric Marathon
The course runs on paved rural roads through the Harwood area, and it is not flat. Rolling hills carry you through most of it, with the steepest climbing coming in the back half. The roads stay open to traffic, so you run facing cars and follow police guidance in the coned sections. Aid stations with water and Gatorade are spaced out across the course.

The Metric Marathon has been held every year since at least 2021. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
