About the Metaline Falls Bigfoot 5K Race & LittleFoot Kids Run
The course leaves downtown Metaline Falls and climbs Lehigh Hill before coming back down, so there is a real ascent to deal with early on. From there the route passes the historic Cutter Theatre and runs along the Pend Oreille River before finishing at Busta Park, where the Bigfoot Festival takes over with vendors, food, and live entertainment afterward.
Packet pickup happens at Busta Park both the evening before the race and again race morning. The organizers nudge you toward the evening-before option to keep your morning simpler. The kids fun run starts and finishes at the Cutter Theatre the following morning, with packet pickup beginning there a short while before the start.
