About the Mercer County Health Department Turkey Trot 5k
The course starts and finishes at the Mercer County Health Department, routing through the streets of Aledo. The opening stretch has a couple of hills before the terrain eases into a mostly flat run to the end. Proceeds support a local fund that helps area residents with basic needs and unexpected hardships.
Water is available out on the course, and the finish area has snacks and beverages. Chip timing is used, with results posted online afterward.
