About the Mental Health Matters 5k
The course starts and finishes at a high school on Main Street in Cumberland Center. The race is organized by a student-led club, so the atmosphere on the starting line reflects that, with students, families, and community members mixed together. The cause is teen mental health awareness, and that purpose is present throughout the morning, not just in the signage.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
