About the Mena Winterfest Reindeer Fun Run/Walk
The course winds through Janssen Park, a short loop through winter scenery that keeps the pace easy and the mood casual. This one is untimed, which tells you everything about what kind of morning it is. Holiday costumes and ugly sweaters are the norm rather than the exception.
The event ties into a Toys for Tots drive, so bringing an unwrapped toy to donate is part of the tradition. Beyond that, the start area and post-run setup are simple and park-based, nothing elaborate.
