About the Medal for the Red Kettle
The race takes place in Thompson Park, and the route has an aid station roughly halfway through. The finish area has apple cider and apples waiting, which fits the feel of a fall morning in the park. There is a separate kids' fun run alongside the main event.
Packet pickup is held the evening before at the Salvation Army building on State Street, with a race-morning option at Thompson Park for those who cannot make the prior day. There is no registration on race day itself.
