The course runs on a mix of pavement and trail through Norwalk, staying mostly flat throughout. It benefits the local food bank, and the race is put on by a running club based out of a local pub, which gives the whole morning a neighborhood-gathering kind of feel.
Packet pickup and same-day registration happen race morning before the start. Afterward, there is a silent auction and raffle, and each runner gets a post-race drink ticket to use at the host venue.
