About the McGuire's of Destin Halloween Run
The race starts and finishes at McGuire's Irish Pub, with the course winding out along the bay on streets shaded by trees. The route is relatively flat and scenic, staying close to the water for much of the way, with aid stations spaced out along the course and splits called as you go.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at the pub, with an early race-morning option as a backup. Before the gun goes off, there is a pre-race spread of juice, fruit, donuts, and coffee. Afterward, the party moves under McGuire's tent for live music, Irish food, and ale, all for registered runners.
